Pre-travel Disease Counseling - private office consult, group office consult, or online consult; destination specific consultation with physician knowledgeable about required and recommended vaccinations and preventive treatments for various destinations of international travel, including travel to developing countries throughout the world.
Discuss your Travel Itinerary in detail with a physician knowledgable and experienced in International and Tropical Medicine and make sure you receive only the vaccines and preventive medications that you need for YOUR SPECIFIC ITINERARY.

Have you already seen your primary physician to discuss your travel plans? No Problem! Obtain from your doctor a prescription for needed vaccines and travel medications. Please call the THUCC location where you wish to have the vaccines administered to make sure the vaccine(s) that you require are in stock. Bring your prescription for the vaccine(s) to the THUCC location that you have chosen.
*Notice: If you are having your physician order your travel vaccines, it is you and your physician's responsibility to ensure that you are receiving the correct vaccines for your destination and any other appropriate medications (e.g. malaria, travelers diarrhea medications) needed for safe travel to and from your destination and during your stay. Texas Hills Urgent Care strongly encourages you to complete a online travel consult or to do an in-office travel consult with our physician who is trained and experienced in making recommendations for international travel.
