Really Did Feel Like Family !

by FrankD2at Citysearch

It says on there web site that they "treat you like family". That's a pretty fair statement. I have been there with both my mother and my daughter. It was a different doctor each time but each doctor was wonderful with my family. The visit with my daughter took about 20 minutes from the time we checked in, but it took longer with my mother because they had to run some test. Everyone seemed very professional and kind. I used their discount program with my daughter and it did save a lot. I was very pleased both times and recommend them highly.

Excellent Service, Friendly and Efficient

by DadOf4at Citysearch

Front office girl was super. She took my insurance information and they called me and my son back in about 5 minutes. I was surprised when I got to the back because that they seemed pretty busy yet still got to us right away.

My son had a sore throat and they collected a strep test immediately while they where checking us in. They then took us to a room. It was very nice. There was a TV with Disney channel on in the room. The doctor came in before I think I even had a chance to sit down. He was very pleasant and conversational. Even though they where busy, he took his time with my son and I. He was very good with my son and actually got him talking (which is rare!).

We had our diagnosis of Strep Throat within 20 minutes and where on our way to the pharmacy. I have never been any place that was so efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend whole heartedly. We will go back.

Excellent Service, Friendly and Efficient

My friend rushed me to Urgent Care for an injury last weekend. They fixed me up as well as they could, and sent me home with a brace and a pain shot that would hold me over until I could see a specialist the next day.

But here's the important part:
I'm allergic to tylenol AND ibuprofen, so the doctor had to write me a prescription for something stronger. Being new at this Urgent Care facility, his prescription pads had his former facility's address on them, which would look suspicious to a pharmacist. The doctor finished his shift, drove all the way to his home in south Austin, picked up the correct prescription pad, met me at the pharmacy, and waited until I was good to go. That's a doctor who cares, and I was lucky have him that day.
